Just got word from my retailer which had the X-H1 for a very nice price on their site, that the camera 99% sure will never get back into stock, several other retailers here also show 'not in stock' or 'discontinued' or 'will never be available'...

A sign of things to come???

Yes. The end of an "error".

The dad jokes are strong with this one.

Looks like the X-H2 will be coming early 2020.

Maybe, maybe not. But I have no intention to upgrade, on the contrary, so soon. With the quite well informed understanding that no significant upgrade to the sensor will be implemented so soon - X-T 3 internals by far not being sufficient to upgrade for my needs. Global shutter is my buzz word for the next relevant upgrade😀. I may on the contrary add a 2nd X-H1 shortly, pricing is getting very attractive. So are Fujifilm's premium services offering.

Maybe just your region. I just sampled 5 retailers off the top of my head and all 5 had the X-H1 in stock.

B&H says also Discontinued
It also has the X-H1 + Grip + 90mm bundle in stock with a note "more coming soon".

The stand alone and older bundles are discontinued.

Of course no one will know for sure, but I just cancelled the agreement I had for a 2nd hand X-T3 (there's a nice cashback action here in Belgium, so might pickup a new one for a small extra) but going to keep an eye out what's might be coming from Fuji in the near future...

Here in Sweden there is double cashback for X-t3 (which should be Europe-wide). The X-h1, which I will order tomorrow to be honest, is now 100-150 euros less (after the double cashback), but also comes with the grip and two extra batteries!

I'v heard about this, but cannot find any info about a double cashback in Belgium... Any idea how this works? From when to when? Can't risk buying the camera too soon or too late :) From what I can tell, cashback in Belgium is 200 euro for the XT3.

Indeed the XH1 has disappeared from the list of available gear at main dealers in France on the web. still remaining the Fuji promo ending January 20th 2020...

Hope ther will be soon an IBIS successor in the range of X series.. I am delighted with mine .... see my night posts from St malo (forum+weekly thread)

I think, it is 200 euros with the double cashback. Before, it was 1k SEK/ 90GBP (I was checking GB shops). Now, it is 2K SEK (should be around 200 euros) or 180GBP for GB.

Like all cashbacks, you get it from Fuji. At least in Sweden, the promotion is from now until early January. You should, however, ask your local shop. They tend to help fill in any info needed. Most importantly, make sure you get it from an authorised local reseller. You can't claim back if you buy it grey or from a different European country (if you do, you can still claim, but will have to do that in the other country).

If indeed the XH1 has been discontinued, then that isn’t a sign that the XH2 is coming soon, but a sign that the XH2 in all likelihood isn’t coming at all.

Fuji (as per most manufacturers) don’t discontinue a product first before announcing a replacement; they always keep the old product around for a while after the new version is released. The X-Pro2 isn’t discontinued yet despite the X-Pro3 landing any day now; the XT2 has literally only just been discontinued a full year after the XT3 hit the shops.

If they’re discontinuing the XH1 without any other XH camera in sight then, they’re probably discontinuing the XH line full stop.

Also, given how poorly that camera was received, it lends to the theory that the X-H series is dead.

My guess is, Fuji will finally add ibis to the X-T4 and make that their flagship.
