Below images are from Imaging Resource. Images are raw and I processed them with Adobe Elements 2019 with Camera 11.4. Each Image also shows which lens was used.

I processed them like I do with my 7D and 6DmkII. Pulled shadows, tried to keep all images as natural as the website. Noise reduction...DeNoise plug-in.

Now my take....Looks great to me. A better lens might create better results (cliché but true). Love those large files.

Last Christmas...Great Sale at Best Buy.... 6DmkII with batter grip and my wife said, buy. The wife got my 7D and old 100-400mmIS. I do miss the cropped sensor and was hoping for the new 7D mkIII, which never came. So I got the 90D itch.

Here are 5 photos taken with the 90D, real world college action division 2. With servo autofocus and small zone and large zone. Notice especially how the camera was able to focus where I pointed it at my runner, the African American in the second cross country pic. The football photo shows even in a crowd focus locked where I needed it on my player running. In the first cross country pic, that is one of 8 taken in a row. All were fine. Most pics are also panned, zoomed in or out as needed through the view finder. The Canon 90D performed as I expected, not at all disappointed. Certain it will get better when I tweak different settings along the way.

Great set!

Nice pics. More proof the 90D's focus capabilities.

I find that #2 is particularly impressive as you were able to squeeze between the two runners in blue and focus on the runner in green.

Even without AI-Servo I've had trouble with my 70D when photographing wildlife in the trees.

Great shot!!!!!

Thank you.

Thank you. Still tweaking a bit at every event.

These type of shots impress me too. The camera has a lot to offer provided the photographer is willing to take the time to figure it out. My normal set-up before this for many years was Fuji, XT2 and XT3. Excellent system and great photos. But my wife has a Canon set-up for vacation photos etc. and I have been looking for a Canon that could do my work. The 80D couldn't compete with the Fuji set-up. I went to New Jersey recently and picked up the 90D just to try it out. That day I went to Rhinebeck NY to the Aerodrome. Not having any experience with the 90D but extensive with other Canons in the past, I was able to set up the camera and fire away. I was impressed with my results. The Canon interface and the camera set up process is so much more comfortable and easy compared to Fuji. Yesterday, I sold all my Fuji items. Here are a few from the Aerodrome shoot. All shot with the 90D 70-200 f4 lens first time out with the camera. Planes are moving pretty fast right in front of us in the crowd and were follow focused.

Nice shots. How cropped were they?

I'm curious what happened to the person free-falling from the Jenny.

Good examples. Looks like my old western/central NY stomping grounds.

Unusual settings they used for this and the 2nd image. The high shutter speed completely froze the tires, making it look much too static. Not sure why they didn't shoot at ISO 100 and stop down the lens a bit.
