Olympus E-M5 Mk III - The ultimate consumer camera?

Good satire. I can't wait for the next investing book to come out, it will turn me into Warren Buffet. If someone gives me a little seed money, I can start something in my garage and become the next Bill Gates.

I am a huge, irrational Olympus fan. I am mega-excited about Olympus's 100-year anniversary and impending Fall announcement of this camera, because I think this is finally the camera that will make me and others into great photographers. Right now I'm not a great photographer, but the cameras are improving with each new model and this is the one that will be so technologically advanced, it will improve my skill in photography.

I also believe that this is the first ever consumer camera that can is also a professional quality camera that pro photographers can use with amazing results. Even though it's not a "pro" camera, it's still professional quality and affords many advantage over traditional "pro" cameras (price, size, weight, etc) while retaining most of its advantages. Once we start seeing a slew of pros using the E-M5 MK III in the field, It will completely transform the market for Olympus and m4/3 in general. The golden age of digital photography will be upon us.

I'm curious to hear what others think about the groundbreaking potential that this camera has to offer in just a few short months.
Damn son, drink kool-aide much?

Yes!

You missed the sarcasm.
Sarcasm isn't always obvious online. I've certainly been guilty of providing some that was nearly invisible.
That's true. Even the most expressive language (English) with 175,000 words can't always get it across.
Language has evolved to be used together with words and gestures and not in cold isolation. if there was sarcasm it was well hidden or just badly presented.

I think the EM5 III is causing excitement in many ways as it is difficult not to see it as symbolising a go or no go point for the future of Olympus.

Actually, it was slathered on pretty thickly. I’m surprised more people didn’t notice.

And when this camera is officially announced, you and everyone else will be whining about how it doesn't have 3 card slots and triple image stabilization and 8k video. Next stop: EM-1 III...
