Product description
Discuss in the Canon SLR Lens Talk forum
The Canon EF 50mm F2.5 Macro dates back to the birth of the EOS system in 1987. But optically, it's still a very strong performer. Capable of 1:2 reproduction on its own, you can achieve 'true' macro reproduction using the optional Life Size Converter EF, which also increases working distance. Compatible with Canon's full-frame and APS-C DSLRs, the EF 50mm F2.5 Macro is also a sharp and useful standard lens, offering an effective focal length of 80mm on APS-C.
