I'm amazed by the variety of lenses shown in the 50mm thread, so why don't we go 35mm next - my 2nd favourite focal length.

So please, share your photos taken with 35mm glass, let's see how many different brands/lenses we can put together. :-)

I only acquired this lens recently (Carl Zeiss Jena version), after getting the Z6 and finally being able to reasonably adapt other brands than Nikkor (which I love, don't get me wrong ;-) ). I really like the rendering of this lens so far, will take it on a trip to France soon and am looking forward to shooting with it. What amazed me from the start is its close-focusing ability, it almost doubles as a "macro" lens.

I should use this lens more often-really like the "classic" look this one can deliver. However, in my travel kit I often go 28-50-105, so it doesn't get the appreciation it deserves. Photos taken with Nikon D600.

I found this in a local thrift store. Cosmetically, it looked a bit of a mess and the aperture ring was very sticky, so I got it for just $15........ but the optics were clean. After cleaning it up, it is one of my favorite Hexanons but I use my 40/1.8 more because it is smaller and lighter.

I like the color this old school MF lens produces apart from its haptics of course. No PP edits just the default DXO raw conversion.

I have used cameras as “portable photo-copiers” for years - ever since my first Ricoh (original) GRD with its amazing close focus capability.

Certainly this well corrected close focus lens is also very capable of serving a similar purpose. The results of photo-copying of course are not really the stuff off showing off imaging quality on a public forum :)

But of course every photograph ever captured is nothing more than a “photo copy” of something.
