Hello all,
Last week my wife and I traveled to Las Vegas for the Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon. While this was not in any way a photography trip, I was able to sneak in some shots during our quick stay.
I brought with me the Rok 12 (f2!) and the good old 18-55. Mostly everything below was processed from RAW in On1 2019 (kicking the tires there) with minimal modification, but there's also some SOOC Acros in the mix; I'll point em out in the captions.
We were on our way back from somewhere, possibly packet pick-up for the race, and cut through The Cosmopolitan. There is a multilevel bar therein, The Chandelier, that well, resembles a chandelier. This photo really doesn't do it justice, so I recommend you search the web for some other shots of this spot. Next time we go we'll have to stop in for a drink here.

Saturday night my wife booked us a tour of the Neon Museum. The museum is located not too far from all the action on Fremont Street. It is essentially a boneyard of signage from Las Vegas hotels and casinos, with some signs being fully restored and others in various stages of disrepair. Our tour guide was great and overall it was a great way to learn some history of the town.

On the way back from the tour we stopped by the Belagio for some gambling, and to get some shots of the surrounding fountain area.

Oh yeah, did I mention that we were there for a race? So what is really neat about this half marathon is that 1) it starts at dusk 2) they shut down the entire strip to car traffic, so the runners were able to get some unique perspectives in their shots I bet.
While I was waiting for my wife to finish I went to the south end of the strip across from NYNY.

Finally, a shot off our balcony (via table-top tripod) to end the night (and this post).

Thanks for coming along for the ride,
