I have several from up there from years ago also and about 40,000 slides of trips to Europe before digital came to be. Every couple of years I get motivated to digitize, but after pulling out 1,000s, viewing many to select the best ones I realize this is just too large a task,. So they continue to sit in a closet!Thank you Den, no, it already has many yearsWonderful image from the top of Notre Dame. Did you take it recently?

I have traveled a lot, especially to the east but I have very few photos of those trips, since they were business trips and I lacked time and at that time I was not very interested in photography.I have several from up there from years ago also and about 40,000 slides of trips to Europe before digital came to be. We spent a couple of months in Japan and Hong Kong in 1984 and the next year 6 weeks in Thailand. But our real travel love is Europe and we visit almost every year for 4 - 6 weeks. If we didn't have a cat and dog and a grown son in Palo Alto, I would certainly choose to live abroad for at least 4 months a year. But my wife prefers to live here.I have traveled a lot, especially to the east but I have very few photos of those trips, since they were business trips and I lacked time and at that time I was not very interested in photography.I have several from up there from years ago also and about 40,000 slides of trips to Europe before digital came to be.
