My thought exactly when I saw the OP. That and, possibly, -1/3 or -2/3 EV for better exposureDxO PhotoLab is your friend - two clicks of Clearview for the distance haze...
Glastonbury Tor?
I was more making a point about editing by hand vs automation, but yeah.Thank you for the feedback - however I only work on possible keepers TBH.
You were doing the beginner's "big number zoom" post, next will be the macro, then long exposure. All part of the photography journey..I guess I won't be posting anything SOOC again seems like my point was lost in the haze :-D.
I don't know about that Ed?

My problem with Dehaze in Lightroom is that it adds an incredibly incorrect blue cast to everything. Look at the sky in the distance in the OP's 9mm fl image and compare it to the above. The only way that I've found around this issue is to go into the HSL sliders and desaturate the blue channel. If it's really bad I resort to using a correction mask and drop down the blue saturation in the sky.
Dehaze is a big hammer of an effect, best used in gradients or masks only; my edit above uses it generously, just not the global slider/all over.My problem with Dehaze in Lightroom is that it adds an incredibly incorrect blue cast to everything.
