Old Greenlander won last challenge, but can not host the next one. I did not win, but will take it upon me to host this one, one with a big twist.

Since I did not exactly won, I thought it would be an interesting idea for you guys to think of a next mini challenge subject. And that will be the subject of this challenge:

Think of which subject you would choose for next mini challenge, if you were to win. Post 3 of your images that will match your subject. Post all 3 images in the same post ( disregard the part about posting in different posts from the general rules below). Try not to forget to give the post's title the next MC subject name.

The challenge will end on Friday March 9th at midnight GMT +1.

After that, you guys get to vote on the subjects (and its images) submitted during the weekend (March 10-11th). After the weekend, I will take the votes into account, including my own opinion about chosen subjects and submitted images, and will post the final winner(s).

The idea then is that the winner hosts next MC with the winning subject.

Challenge Rules

The host gives you a topic and you post up to three images that fit.

Remember, it's all about fun, sharing, and learning.

Any picture you have taken in person is eligible, regardless of time taken, camera or post-processing used.

The host chooses the winners and honorable mentions and posts those in a new thread. The host's decision is final.

The winner of this challenge then hosts the next challenge, judges the winner of that one, and so on it goes.
The winner of this challenge will have 48 hours to post the next challenge. If that doesn't happen, 2nd place will have 24 hours to do so, then it's up to 3rd place.

Submission Posting Guidelines

Post each one of your three submissions in its own reply to this post.
Give each post a unique Subject, please.
It's best to embed an image in its post rather than linking to somewhere else.
Feel free to post photos "for exhibition only" if you want to share more than three or won't be available to host the next challenge.
Try to preserve the EXIF please, so we can see which camera, lens, and settings were used.

Comment Posting Guidelines

Feel free to post comments on the images or ask for comments.
Don't hesitate to click on the green "Like" thumb on the top right of the post, so we know which images were most popular.
The host can make up his own mind without being influenced by that.

Just for clarification,

Do we get one entry with three photos of a single theme, or do we get three entries as usual, with three photos for each theme (9 pictures total across 3 posts)?

cheers,

Mike

I think it is a good idea, (despite of apparent hesitation of members),

because IMO it implies what the next MC topic will be :-)

Here are my samples...

The concept here is to show three photos from which the viewer can readily determine why you see this as your favourite vacation of all time. No words or explanation other than a title should be deemed necessary.

This future MC will be called "Look UP", and will feature photographs where the camera is positioned below the subject and is pointing upwards.

Sample photographs:

Regards,

Mike
I like Mike's suggestion. Very often we don't look up and don't see many wonders around. Some samples are below (I have many more though).
