I saw a Raven trying his best to get into a fanny pack on this bicycle.

Later, he was joined by a friend and they worked in tandem.

Great images - would love to see the ravens ride the bike!

Raven are my all time favourite birds.

They are very intelligent, they can distinguish between persons, they can be trained, and even when getting friendly you can never fully trust a raven. Something comforting about birds acting like this...

Wowzers, very nice! That is the best photo of a raven I've ever seen. Thanks for posting all of them.

Maybe you have noticed ravens and crows are the tattle-tails of the forest, when they begin to sound the alarm it can get so loud and the din can go on a long time. Those and blue jays....

He's a cheeky little blighter this one. You're on top of him and he isn't even looking at you.

Great series, Randy. Like others here, the last on is my favorite. You suppose there was some snack in the bag that they could detect?

Hi, thank you for the kind words.

Hi breccia,

Thank you for the kind words.

Yes, they are certainly the tattle-tales and nothing gets by them!

Hello Ed,

Yes, I was able to slowly approach him, the wily critter seemed to ignore me...however, I'm certain he was looking.

Hi Steve, thanks for the comments. I am certain there were snacks of some form in the little pack. They were working hard to get at them.
