I want to share a few images from our trip from Edinburgh through the Highlands to Isle of Skye and Glasgow in late august. I hope you´ll enjoy. C&C is appreciated, as always.

Some great pictures in there. I particularly like the last 6. The first 7 (or at least most thereof), however, I could live without, to be honest. I would even go as far as saying that they diminish the overall presentation as I was rather quickly scrolling through them until I got to the second half. Just a thought.

Like ALL of them, Talisker Bay is very nice, I like the longer shutter time in that, giving the water " a flow".

Many different light situations and still such good results.

Hope to visit Scotland one time but, little bit afraid for the weather conditions ;-)

Thanks for sharing,

eMBie

Thanks you eMBie,

I very much appreciate your kind comment! Yes ... the weather ... don´t expect a lot of sun when you visit scotland in summer. The locals told us that the best weather is around may. This year it must have been very dry then.

But however: Stormy weather is good for dramatic photos ;-)

Regards!

Nice series! Even if I am not a fan of milky cascades and flattened sea.

Just wondering about this one: is the Parliament building still under construction? Is it so ugly looking, indeed? I can understand you were somehow forced to use a not so good point of view...

Hi Rapick,

thanks for looking and commenting!

You are right, the title of the image may be misleading, as it was more about the whole arrangement of different architectural styles in front of the hill. What also caught my eye is the roof parliament building: It´s different shapes harmonise perfectly with the shape of the hill. It wasn´t under construction btw. :-)

Cheers, Rainer
