Well apparently Sony already made a DSC-F1 back in 1997 or 98.

Not bad try, but the game was given away by the oversized '10x' caption on the lens barrel and the too-dark text on the top of the camera.
Not only that, but the bug-ugly silver mode selector dial looks seriously out of place and the 'Sony' logo has 'bodge' written all over it (the contrast is all wrong)
But it was certainly an improvement on the last fake.

That Sony DSC-F1 sounds actually like a good camera, with some functions which I wish the F707 would have (like 6 contiuniuos pics)...

First off, a disclaimer:
That image was done just for fun, as several people here on STF were stating that they missed the posts of "suspected" 828 sightings, so I felt it would be fun to oblige them.
Now, just to clarify, that 10x was directly placed from a correct layer of that 717 image, so it is the right size, and also, in light of the news of the real f828, I wasn't too far off in predicting that silver colored mode dial after all!
