For me, it is very difficult to get such natural skin tones with any other camera (I own a 80D).
What's your opinion about this capture?

Even Iphones give good skin tones. And how can you use more than one G3 X at a time?!

No doubts, I was talking about Canon colors and tonality with my G3X.

It would be very nice to see some examples with your camera.

Thanks for your comment.

Looks very fine to me.

You captured the shot and with good quality. I thought maybe ISO 400, so even better that its ISO 1000.

The G3X is an excellent camera for sure.

Again, how can you use more than one camera at a time?
What part of "back up camera" is difficult to grasp?
Let me post a stupid reply so that I can rack up my count to 25 thousand.

I have 2 x 7D, 1 x 5D Mark III, 2 x M and 1 x G7 X Mark II. And that's on the Canon side. Again, I really don't know how I manage to use more than one camera at a time.

Electronic devices, if they don't stop working within a month of purchase, are extremely reliable. Do you have a back up phone ? Tv? I don't. I can't fathom someone paying $700? for a device that on all likelihood won't be needed unless you do paid work and if do a G3 X isn't the camera for paid work.

Its not just about camera failing, its also about loss of camera through damage or theft. Dont know why you take issue to others doing what they like with their own money.

As for paid work, if someone is a pro, I'd trust them with a G3 X than an amateur with a dslr.

My T5i can do that no problem. My 5d mark ii can do that easily and no doubt a iphone 6 can do that. The extras are the reason we choose our cameras: the near field communications (doesn't help with the photo taking but makes sharing the photos real easy), the rear touch screen (makes interacting with your camera a lot easier than my 5d mark ii, but doesn't make for better photos), dust and water resistance (not useful for photography but helps if you take photos in the rain as I have done on occasion). Its those extras that I mentioned that we buy for. I would love to have near field communications but neither of mine have it, my 5d mark ii gives me photos worth of the pros but its not as easy to work with since I do not have the touch screen that the G3x does.

And not to mention that the G3 X is far more portable, does not require lens changing and does not require a bulky heavy lens for those who desire the added reach.

To get back to your original thought, the skin tones on the little girl are gorgeous and not often as appealing as in your picture. It's a great picture of a really pretty little girl. Cathy H.

One in each hand? You could stitch the images later to give a very wide shot which seems a quick way of creating panoramas.

Given that cameras are discontinued rapidly and makers dropping out of the compact market at a rate of knots having a spare of a camera that you really like seems a reasonable strategy.

I doubt if iPhone skin tones are very good at 600mm equivalent. Why people feel the need to promote these limited fixed wide angle small sensor phone cameras at every opportunity compared to infinitely more flexible specialised kit I do not know.

Very true and one like from me, but again a pro wouldn't use the g3x for paid work. Back to original post, everybody can do what he wants with his money, none of my business.
