Which one do you prefer?

I also enclose original (ungraded, OOC) one, for you to test your luts/grading, if you wish.

I like the 2nd one. On my monitor at least the skin tones look natural and the extra brightness in the highlights make the whole thing pop.

Thx; the second one was obtained by applying the nx2log LUT from EOShd, and then grading the frame in Lightroom. I don't know if it's possible to export the "grading" from LR to Premiere, though...

Your post explains fully why my photography has become 90% a 4K Grab Stills kind of photography.

Away from my PC I downloaded your first image and using my favotite app Snapseed wound up with my subjective version:

My CC of image 1 using Android app snapseed - all rights to TechnoWorld

I tried to offset the strong rear light with some frontal illumination.

A beautiful young dancer full of concentration.

Thx a lot for your effort! Consider that the first pic already underwent a deep pp, being first converted to log (with eosHD nx2log lut) and then with a secondary lut applied on it. Your result nevertheless shows how much info is present in a video grab from nx1. Really outstanding!

P.s. if you have time, please try to process the original ooc grab (the larger one at the bottom).

Thx again!

Somehow I Prefer the third one, perhaps because I perceive it as a good blend of the first and second!

Yep, that's my personal favourite. A LR elaboration starting directly from the ooc image.

Here is your OOC from above:

Resized then PP on my Android LG phone.
Resized then PP on my Android LG phone.

My PP is based on your very low resolution OOC image which I resized to 4096 wide then PP and cropped.

The NX1 4K Still Grabs are amazing especially when pulled out as .Png's.

Yep, 3rd is best overall, the 2nd is great for her face, the seeming over saturation of the background blue and somewhat muddy darks make a visual distraction and a lack of detail respectively relative to 3. 2 and 3 beat the 1st hands down.

Unfortunately only #1 comes directly from premiere. #2 and #3 involved the use of LR.
