Let's get this thread started. I'll probably upgrade to the A6300 in due course, but it's not an immediate trigger pull for me.

I'm not entirely sure, but it appears to be missing some compelling feature sets:
  • IBIS?
  • 1080p 120fps?
  • Touch screen?
What else?

Same. No IBIS, no buy :P

"stop crying like a baby!"

- Nope, not until I get my IBIS

This sounds like a rallying cry. I'm in on it.

Improvement in low-light AF? Didn't see it mentioned in the press release.

Presser says 1080p/120

Super slow motion would have been cool

Touch screen is almost a must for video.

IBIS adds quite a lot to size and weight. A full-frame body in rangefinder form with IBIS would be more appropriate as the feature can be used more effectively with legacy and converted lenses.

LMAO, already????

I would say IBIS would have been nice, as well as filling in the lens gaps.

You know it!

The lens gap is a bummer.

Also, I can't help but think that IBIS would have "helped" ease the lens pain. You could of at least run the FE primes stabilized.

My mistake. That's more interesting then... At least now the RX10 II doesn't seem like a superior video tool.

Yet again, Sony never promised us IBIS. Thus was completely made up here on the forums.

I think those looking for FF with that kind of requirement for IBIS already has an option for an A7II. May not have some of the bells and whistles like the new A6300, but if your looking for IBIS for the use of FF lenses...

It's not a far cry. Stabilization is in both previous and current generation Sony DSLR/FE cameras, and is in many A6300 competitors including the most recent flagship mirrorless flagships, the PEN-F and the GX8.

No IBIS mainly.

Would have been great to have more APS-C lenses. Seems all the focus is on the FE lenses selections.

Touchscreen and weathersealing would have been nice, along with another control dial, improved EVF. I don't mind the lack of IBIS but it would have been a decided selling point for some folks.

I'm just underwhelmed.

At least they kept the 24 MP, not the ridiculous 36 MP SAR kept talking about.
