XT1, which strap do you good folks use?

If you prefer a shoulder strap, do not overlook the Fuji neck strap included with the camera. The logo rubs off with a paper towel. Very good grip and release. The best I've found for the camera so far and I have a small mint worth of costly straps.
Thank you sir I definitely check that out.

I use a small padded hand strap similar to this one.

Actually, I just took a look and it's........ Very nice! I underestimated Fuji. I thought it would be logos everywhere but it's pretty sleek looking. Thanks a million uniball for that, I will prolly go with that for a while. A couple of dollars more saved toward the rumored upcoming 35mm 1.4 Mark II when it comes out : )

I use the original Luma Loop that I bought a few years ago. I absolutely love it. Best camera strap I've owned in over 20 years, but Black Rapid threatened to sued it out of existence and they discontinued it.

What I love most about it is that it does not connect to the tripod socket, but to one of the strap lugs, but not in a bulky way.

I use standard strap which came with X-T1. Just when you wear it on your shoulder make sure you will reverse the camera so that lens will fave your body. Theb ut will not hit anything and will be really descrete. Have also ordered wrist strap.

I like neoprene straps as they are very comfortable. You don't need a big one for Fuji bodies so I bought some Optech binocular straps. They are dirt cheap on Ebay.

I have Rapid Strap but it looks better on DSLR's. So what are you guys using? A few recommendations would be great.

Thanks,

r
I tried my black rapid - far too bulky on the x-series for me. Really liked my Gariz half leather case but had steered away from the strap because of cost, then found an offer on one, wrong colour for my case but thought I would go with it anyway - really like it in use, soft, long enough to wear across my body and just feels nice on my shoulder. Also it folds really nicely away inside a bag due to the softness of the leather, not had it long enough to comment on its robustness.

You can get a gun sling adaptor for use with this strap and the case.

Lance Braided leather wrist strap - excellent quality and I think it fits the overall look of the XT1

sunsniper - sniper strap compact ( this works reall well )

sunsniper - strap surfer ( i have this attached to my camera bag if I am carrying iy )

DSPTCH neck strap and wrist strap, which use the same quick release mechanism. I absolutely love this system, and I'm ordering another set!

Well Robert, being a former military man, I would not say I think that......But now that you mention it, if it was Olive Drab green...! :-D

I cut the pad off because I thought it was too bulky and rubbed my neck. The X series cameras are so light the load carrying advantage of the strap if there was one was not needed in my book.

I wanted to use those camouflage straps but I could never find the bu**ers.

I recently picked up the Peak Design Cuff Wrist Strap.

NOt 100% sold on the part your hand goes through, think Id like elastic a little better, but I do feel confident the locking mechanism is not going to fail!

Have used the same one for years for several Nikon DSLRs. Have not ordered yet for my newly received X-T1, but it is next. Not a looker, but works really well. Quote from Luminous Landscape:

A couple of years ago I published a review of the Upstrap by Sean Reid. The Upstrap is simply a camera strap, so what's the big deal? The big deal is that it's the best damn camera strap in the world. Period. End of story.

The reason for this unequivocal praise is that it's the only camera strap that I know of that won't slip off your shoulder, whether the camera weighs 6 oz or 4 lbs. There are versions available for carrying large and heavy lenses, with quick releases and without. All of the materials used are the finest available, and the thought and engineering that goes into every aspect of their design and manufacture means that they do their simply job simply, and unobtrusively.
The link to upstrap doesn't work

can you advise?

I think they went out of business since several sites (old pages) were offering sales of "Fire stock" etc. Checkout DSPTCH straps although I now think they have too much in the way of scratchy buckles. I've ordered an "in-cam" strap, the cheapest they do - a shoulder strap at £16 it looks good over the shoulder and is soft cotton which will not scratch when packed neatly into a camera bag and importantly, it will easily fold around the hand for use as wrist strap. The black and olive colours in particular will look the part on retro bodies. http://rigu.co.uk/camera-straps/dslr-camera-strap/thin-rangefinder-camera-strap-cam8742B95

Also this for sling style: http://rigu.co.uk/camera-straps/dslr-camera-strap/thin-leather-camera-strap-cam-in-CAM2213 at £23

Another style to to check out on the same website (Rigu) is the Ninja adjustable which also look great. There is a really good range of leather, cotton, canvas and poly straps on this website.

Post free by pigeon post or £1.50 for standard.

BTW, I have no affiliation with them
