I have Rapid Strap but it looks better on DSLR's. So what are you guys using? A few recommendations would be great.

Thanks,

I have a Lancer sling on one body and wrist strap on the other. However, I'm waiting for a UK dealer to receive a shipment from USA of DSPTCH standard straps where I have 2 on order.

I like the Domke Gripper straps w/o the swivels.

I use a Leica strap that came/comes with the M line of digital cameras. I take the rubber shoulder piece off that says Leica. It's just the right length to carry the camera bandoleer style.

I still use Black Rapid, but have moved to one of their lighter straps. In particular, I use the strap that comes with the Snapr 35, and I use the bag as well when I have one of the pancakes mounted.

I also use a Leica anti slip strap. Easy to put on and take off, and the anti slip rubber works amazingly well. I have one that I use with both the X100S and the X-T1...I am going to buy another so I have one for each camera.

Have used the same one for years for several Nikon DSLRs. Have not ordered yet for my newly received X-T1, but it is next. Not a looker, but works really well. Quote from Luminous Landscape:

A couple of years ago I published a review of the Upstrap by Sean Reid. The Upstrap is simply a camera strap, so what's the big deal? The big deal is that it's the best damn camera strap in the world. Period. End of story.

The reason for this unequivocal praise is that it's the only camera strap that I know of that won't slip off your shoulder, whether the camera weighs 6 oz or 4 lbs. There are versions available for carrying large and heavy lenses, with quick releases and without. All of the materials used are the finest available, and the thought and engineering that goes into every aspect of their design and manufacture means that they do their simply job simply, and unobtrusively.

Black Rapid makes the Metro strap that may be ok.

Past that I like my Domke Gripper strap, 1"

OR

Think Tank strap

Domke gripper strap is my #1 choice.

I love black rapid straps started with metro for fuji xe2 but had the issue of strap slipping off shoulder. I switched to a black cross shot and it has worked out much better. Just ordered a Gordy wrist strap for a two camera solution.

I use a black rapid that I modified. I removed the big pad & sewed it back together. I hated the shoulder pad. I also use a Domke gripper if I want a standard camera strap.

I'm using the PeakDesign slide strap. Pretty new on market. Able to use either as a neck strap or a sling with very quick adjustments and a good quick release system.

I have also been using Black Rapid which is okay until I want to stuff it and the camera in the camera bag. It has a lot of bulk.

Does anyone here have experience with the Joby strap, which is a sling, and the new Ultra Plate. I have the strap from awhile back, but the plate is new, adjustable on a slide with an extra thread for their strap or a black rapid.

What I am curious about is whether or not it clear the battery compartment. It is called an Ultra plate and is found here

Gordy's wrist strap.

Stock neck strap when out with the family and need a hands-free option.

Thanks for the tip - I just ordered the f Camera Strap with nylon web for my X-T1. It's good for 2-5 pounds so it should fill the bill.

If you prefer a shoulder strap, do not overlook the Fuji neck strap included with the camera. The logo rubs off with a paper towel. Very good grip and release. The best I've found for the camera so far and I have a small mint worth of costly straps.
