Canon see impossible

I see impossible text spacing in that horribly designed advertisement for whatever it's for. Seems like a big waste of advertising money to me. Give us real words Canon - then it might generate more interest in the actual intended audience rather than dashed-hopes in a broader audience.

I'm not sure what will be announced, but I am sure that it will disappoint scores of enthusiasts and be ignored by 90% of the intended audience.

If it's a new sensor, the mirrorless fans will be disappointed. If it is a new mirrorless camera, the sensor enthusiasts (of which I am one) will be disappointed. If it's a photo contest, all the gear enthusiasts will be disappointed and most photographers won't care because they are happy to share their pictures on Flickr. If it's a new entry-level product, or a printer, it will go mostly unnoticed by people looking for a new printer or compact camera. The sales rep at Best Buy might pay attention and direct some of those customers to the new product, though. :)

The Powershot N2 in graffiti colors!

You thought it was impossible, but we did it!

Order your Louis Vutton bag with it in matching colors for $2999.

Impossible! Gim-mossible!

It'll end up being another lame-over.
Nah, it's a new implementation of the print button.

New firmware for the 1D4 to make the interface more like the 7D.

More unrealistic :

Introducing dual ISO on recent cameras with 15 step DR.

Maybe it won't be ignored.

It could be new sensor + mirrorless, one camera. Or new sensor DSLR and a mirrorless. :)

It could a smartphone that is better than anything else in photography.

I highly doubt it would be a photo event, printer or something entry level. The message surely doesn't point to that direction.

A long shot, perhaps, but could it be a new lens design?
I doubt they will put a two page spread ad in NYT for that.

I had forgotten about the old print button jokes. Yep. Maybe it'll go well with the stupid portable wireless 6x4 printer.

... with camera and inferior sensor.

Maybe Canon and Apple teamed up for a new kind of smartphone to stop Samsung and Sony onslaught? :)

A new papercraft model of the illusive 46mp body:
