Wow. Some practically look like holograms, especially the bike shot. Can you put the bike shot up at a bit higher resolution, about 2048 or so? I'd like to see that.

I will try when i get back home.

Thanks.

somehow the pictures appear soft , not much contrast

Still has impressive sharpness though.

Definitely lower contrast than I would expect for this lens mounted on a M240, although part of me thinks this is down to exposure and colour presets. The default for the M240 is punchy colours and a tad more contrast than the A7. The results from the M240 look like fine grained slide film, the results from the A7/r look more like portra 400.

I think contrast is becouse of the flat light. The weather was awfull and i havent seen the sun for three days.

I would much rather have to add contrast boost in post than have too much strait from the lens, as it will look flat.

This exactly.

They are beautifull and subtle, thanks

I don't quite see any 'WOW' factor in this images (sorry I am not judging the pictures by any means, only the lens).

It's not sharper than Canon's FD 55/1.4, samyang 85/1.4.. I mean 'regular' lenses..

Maybe I am not seeing what others are. But it looks pretty ordinary to my eyes.

I know, not quite the same thing. But for 1/10 the price, the old R-series 'crons do pretty well IME. (And in this case by "old" I mean super old, as in 1960s 1st generation old.)

I've been trying out a lot of normal-range primes, lately. Something about the 'cron just rocks my world (can't quite put my finger on it…)

I really like the bridge shot. It looks a lot like a painting.

That's just the Leica look. Zeiss, on the other hand, is known for microcontrast.
