Finally we got some snow. I started to think it would be neverending autumn!

I think snow-shots look sometimes nice in black&white. I like the feel of them.

The one with the railroad was long exposure 3,2 sec.

Creek-shot is from last year on a really cold day about -25 C. I did exposure bracketing and processed it with Photomatix.

Love all three but I think the third one (with the sun coming through the icy trees) is my favorite.

Sadly, its getting warmer on Oulu. I wish to take snow flakes but they dissappears above -10degress celcius.

next week hopefully.

Ben - I live in NYC and I can send you PLENTY OF SNOW FLAKES if you are willing to pay the refrigerated shipping. ;-) (And I won't miss them at all!!!)
 
All are nice, but the last picture is especially beautiful.
 
Excellent work! I gave my XZ-1 to my Aunt but your making me miss it!
