With an Osprey.

Permitted by a combination of:

1. ASP-C body

2. Nex 7 24 MP sensor

3. 300mm (450 equiv) G lens

4. Great light

5. Osprey preoccupied with fish allowing close proximity

6. Some heavy cropping . . .

A closer examination of some parts.

Beak

Eyes

Feathers

Feet with talons

It is really special to get this close to nature in the wild . . .

Jack

I wasn't too worried. He seemed very interested in the fish!

Thanks,

Thank you for looking and making such kind comments.

:-) I sure wish I could get to see one Jack. In the deatils department, no issues and showing some excellent sharp details in there mate. But and this is just me, the talons are SUPERB !!, outstanding with the details and the fine hairs around the beak. Phew that sensor is going to take some beating Jack.

There is a thread in here at the moment and someone summed it up fairly well IMO .......

For wide angle, A7r, for tele NEX-7. Ahh where is it

This is exactly the issue with weighing up the cameras Jack.

All the very best you two, top details in these shots mate.

Danny.
