I like it...you scroll down past some wonderful, beautifully lit landscapes and BAM!

The moose gets you!

Made me smile!

.

Wildlife with a 35mm, impressive! The rare Seashore Moose.

Nice set, feels like i've taken a trip. Nice use of the spacial rendering of the 10-18.

Thanks a bunch Danny:)

Another great set of photos Richard. Keep them coming. Regards, Evan

Lovely stuff Richard, as usual, but not taken for granted. It must be very satisfying to reproduce those brilliant colours.

Cheers John

Thanks, yes i love working with Lightroom and Rawfiles. The editing is almost as fun as taking the photos:) Taking the photo is just a small part of it..

very very beautifull shots.....that place is somewhere i'd like to live forever...where's this place? many thanks for sharing. btw, how did you create that motion effect in the forest?

thanks:)

I live in a Place called Egersund in the south of Norway, almost all my photos are from that region. The motion effect is created by using a tripod and zoomign the lens while using a slow shutter ;)

Richard,

You live in a wonderful place, but your photos match the locale . . . they are always superb. Just excellent shots . . .

Jack

They are all great!

Did you use HDR for #2? If yes was it in camera HDR and what HDR settings did you use?

Thanks for posting!

Wonderful pictures, Richard! I also checked your Flickr following Danny's suggestion - great work! Slartibartfast certainly deserved the price that he received for designing the coast line of Norway :-D

Can you please share a few tips for how you PP the images? I got my NEX-6 and PS Elements early this year, and I am still learning! I am especially interested in how you did the second picture, and also this one from your Flickr:

So the second one, with the town on the water, what kind of processing did you do if at all? Do you do much processing with any or all of these? Thanks, Chancey

Please post more...

Thank you!

Thank you very much.. The PP is just basic lightroom editing, shadows and highlights, whites and blacks, contrast, whitebalance, Lensprofile, vignette sharness noise and so on.. Some dodge and burn if that is needed... just try, you will get there, i learded it from youtubevideos ;) the waterfall(river) photo is a long exposure, 30 seonds to get that white smooth water..
