Ahhhh, the good and beautiful Old Lady!.... Here with the spirit flying over her:

Thanks so much for sharing these wonderful shots with us!...

I hope you are doing well, dear friend; and, back to the normal life.... I mean shooting! ;-)

BTW, congratulations for your new camera. I am very curious to know your opinion about 240 comparing to M9. It seems M9 gives more pleasing colors; but 240 offers so much more!

Very warm regards,

"Nothing spectacular"??!!!!

My dear fellow, these are spectacular! Glad to see you back and posting again. I couldn't even begin to pick favorites from this set (as is the case for me with all your postings) but this time the first one hit me straight between the eyes. Wow!

Trust you and family are well, dear Hugues. All the best to you all.

Cheers,

-raaj

some nice images I really like the first one best as its not a view of the tower I have ever seen before great shot :-)

I don't understand why the shot has disappeared from my previous post!

Its great to see you posting again Hugues and I see you are experimenting with some new post processing techniques.

Hope you find time to bless us with some more sets from your Sunday strolls.

Paul

this set is not really what i remember seeing from you before hugues, im more used to the b/w images.

bu i am really enjoying seeing these, and the PP is very interesting, they look different from most other type 240 colour shots i have seen, more like the M8 or M9 type colours to my eye.

very best

Hi Hugues,

Nice to see you posting again and of course wonderful compositions as always. BUt it seems your post-processing has changed. They look a bit more HDR to me. Is it because of the extra dynamic range from the M?

Best, D

Dear Hugues,

It's great to see another wonderful set from you! I hope you are feeling better and whatever caused you to suffer so much pain, I hope you are on the mend. Photography is certainly one of the best medicines around, particularly if you have a Leica in your hands :-D

This set carries the magic of Paris, and brings back great memories for me of being there. Each has a special story to tell, so it's hard to choose favorites. The very first image in this set conveys the feeling of being up there in that tower very well!

Take care, be well, keep posting.

Always a treat to see what you offer in this forum, especially on such a beautiful city. I wonder if they would make Louis home-sick....:-))

Cheers,

Lovely set and I am particularly drawn to the last picture. The low angle with the bike and the car works very well and I think the colour processing adds to the dramatic effect.

One of the things I like about this forum are all the beautiful photos of cities and places which I love to visit but unfortunately only get a limited amount of time in. As these forum photos (unlike the typical tourist ones) really capture the mood and the life of the places, I can have virtual visits more often now :-)

Good to see you back posting again Hugues. Especially colour images, which seem to have the same look and feel of your B/Ws. Like Raaj, I couldn't pick a preference at first. But I persevered and chose these two :)

Very best

Very dear Mike!

thank you for your message! I am delighted to see that some of my images are a little effect! LOL ...

Also, I am pleased to read that my PP brand spirits ... I spend a lot of time on my files ... to get some things that work for me ... So if my buddy Mike appreciated, it makes me even more pleasure!

I hope that on your side things are back to normal, and that you're okay!

Thank you again Mike!

Nothing to explain.....
Ciao mon Gianlu !

It will be impossible for me to be present at the forum, as I have done before ...

But I'll do my best ... I still remember your beautiful picture, where we see you in shadow, simulating the urge to disconnect your internet ...

It is important to keep life in parallel ...

But I'll be there as much as possible ...

In all cases, we keep in touch my friend!

And that is the most important!

Thank you again for your support and for your very kind messages ...

Warm regards.

Hugues.
