We will start a new thread for this every week now due to the popularity. I'll be sure to comment also to your images, if you choose to share. Thanks everyone for your participation.

When you are posting your own images please submit them as a reply to this post. Otherwise your pictures may be overlooked. See my own photos for this week as a reply.

We invite you again to show your own snapshots or even choice pictures. Remember it's all about the enjoyment of taking pictures regardless of what we have. We can learn from each other and it's fun to share too.

You are lucky to have such a sweet daughter. :) The pictures are good...interesting...makes me think so much of all the work that must be done to maintain the mansion and the grounds. It looks like the weather cooperated for you too.

Thanks, Digi. The outside has been pretty much restored. The inside has quite a ways to go and will most likely not be completed in our lifetimes. The house across the street is part of the 'Foundation' as well. Very little work has been done on it yet. If anyone passes thru LaSalle it would be worth a visit.

'nuff said...

I like your bird photos. I especially like the color combination and surroundings in the second photo, seeing the bird in its environment.
Thanks Dig. I took the second one just for identification but when I edited it I got something worth sharing.

Well, the landscapes should have been clues too. :) The Clemente bridge and PNC park. We may have the consistently worst baseball team, but we have one of the best stadiums.

Thanks!

Is actually next to the Geyser, called Geyser at a place called Geysir, think they have the area well named. it goes off every 10 minutes or so, 30/40 metres into the air.

Taken with Sigma 18-200mm, put on manual focus otherwise it started hunting all over the place.

You are right. I previously also did a search on-line and did see the bridge and ballpark, so I knew for sure that it was the Pittsburgh Pirates. :)

I no longer consume hot dogs, but they sure look and smell so yummy good. :)

That's neat. I like the way you showed the geyser in a series like that.

Took a few pics of a Ratrod I saw today. Processed them in Lightroom 5. Sort of almost like HDR.

Don't know if it's just me or what, but some pictures don't show up. You have to click on original size to view them.

I enjoyed very much seeing the photo of the ratrod. I viewed them many times. A few of us in our younger years may have had similar automobiles. We got them to run, even if they didn't look pretty. :)

I've had similar problems in the past. I think it's an issue with Dpreview's software. But the photos eventually show up (at least they have for me). Thanks for sharing with us your pictures. :)

I had seen them lots on TV and in magazines, but this is the first time I saw one up close. Love that shift lever though.
