Harsh tones ... but then, you were too lazy to process them so I guess it's ok.

These are really nice looking shots considering no PP. In fact very very sharp, colorful and nice to view.

Keep them coming my friend.

Best wishes, Gary N W SFO

So how do you set up the camera to frame the images and add your signature then? You do know what SOOC means I take it!
in all fairness Paul , he did leave in the copious amounts of leathery noise in the skies and the overcooked / oversmeared "detail" which Cheap Mobile Phones The HS30 is famous for instead of working them to death with Neat Image and resizing them down to 800 pixels across :-D

Is it worth it?, you`ll only Rubbish anything I post regardless, even if I posted one from a 1DS3 or D800E and faked S6500FD EXIF data somehow !! .

Anyway , whatever, Will a Heron do - 100% Crop from the *OLD* S100

Not purporting that this is anything special ... but it is an example of why your shots have never rocked my world for detail ...

Shot in 2007 with the lowly D70s ...

Shot in 2008 with the lowly Coolpix 8800 bridge camera. No need for a massive APS-C sensor. :P

I know the highlights are blown to smithereens but I was new to photography then.

The only thing lowly about the 8800 was the damn speed, it was the slowest Digital camera made this century - the Glass was superb, one of if not THE best Digicam superzoom lens ever made optically - but the AF was worse than a D90 in Contrast detect mode and file storage (even in JPG) was like saving to floppy disks, the cam was even better in RAW if you could wait something like a Minute between shots .
