Hopefully... Most of us may undermine the use of DX format in professional fields, however D300S (besides the 7D) was a very fine alternative for applications requiring hi frame rates (up to 8fps), fine image quality, SDK (yes, very important!) and these all with a fraction of the similarly featured FF cameras ($1500-1700). Not only for bird, wildlife or sports photography but also for industrial applications like speed enforcement (7-8fps), such DX cameras are still the preferred ones over their FF brethren. I personally am looking forward to have a D400 with the sensor on the Nex-7 for example. BTW, I heard a number of D300S used since years exceeding 500K actuations; they really are robust cameras.CFynn wrote:
