Lets see some of you photos!!!!! Put up or .....

Joel,

This is a great picture, but how did you get the depth of field to get both the flowers and the clouds in focus??? Then, if you have F22 or whatever, I am sure you shutter speed would have been too slow unless there was no wind... I would love to know the secret!

All of the tips you gave are things I've been studying for quite
some time. And will be studying for quite some time longer. There
are always new things to learn about light, and it fascinates me.
Wasn't sure where you were at (photographically). I'll be studying, too. I don't want to think of myself as being any more than a student. Once I think I know it all is the day I better quit taking pictures.
I think I'll hold out a little longer before showing my stuff....
I'll enjoy seeing the rest of yours in the meantime!
Enjoy doing, too. Happy hunting to ya. :-)

I will post a bunch of my stuff so you can let me know if I deserve
the stuff I have or can be allowed to buy some new stuff I want to
help me get better stuff than the stuff I'm working with and the
results I'm showing!
I am at the coast on a dial up--I love your stuff but .... I will look at them on cable when I get home. (no 'disrespect'--I love your 'stuff'--just on this d--n AOL access).

Sorry about that Diane! I just linked a bunch of stuff you have probably already seen. I'm working on location model photography now but won't post anything until the first projects are done.

...but it's a Kirk-brand plate for a Canon 100-400 that I mount using the single hole, front to back and protruding forward, so the camera can slide to the rear. With the plate's front even with the QR clamp's front, the nodal points of my 28mm and 50mm lenses are aligned with the ballhead's pivot, and with the plate pulled about 1 centimeter (0.4") to the rear, the 85mm's nodal point is aligned. I haven't aligned my new Canon 135/2's nodal point; I THINK I may need a longer plate for that or I simply may put up with the slight foreground blur that may result from the assembly being slightly too far forward.

The plate clamps tightly enough that it doesn't rotate on the 1Ds's body, but I suppose a custom plate would be better. I shudder to think of what that would cost!

Dave,

Your galleries are by far the best I've seen posted here on this forum. Is there a chance I can get a few at full res? Are you selling them? Please email me (see profile) if it's possible.

Damn, you've got a great eye! Also what equipment are you using? Thanks!
