Samsung NX 30mm lens on special until Sept 23rd in Toronto Canada

Gah,
This is a ridiculous (ly good) price.

I do wish Samsung would be more sustainable and predictable in prices.

Crazy price, so I bought one. Thanks for the link.
I missed a used on on ebay yesterday that went for far more, so a good deal.

Thanks for the link! I'll be heading down to Henrys to see if they'll match it. If not, and likely they won't, I'll just order it online. Also, MemoryExpress.com has had it on sale for $199.

for that price im tempted to get one as a spare. I really had to scrutinise the web page to verify it wasnt returned or factory refurbished lot. Even it they were, samsungs warranty process is honerable from all that I have read of people submitting their lenses for repair.
That has to be the lowest I have seen for the 30mm!

Picked one up at Henrys for $129. What a pleasant surprise that they matched it. So I decided to also pickup the 50-200 for $149. Not bad, two lenses for under $300.

Ditto. Just picked up both too. Was agonizing over whether to wait for the 45mm but at these prices, why wait?

I've been thinking about this lens but my 20-50 is pretty good already. Other than being a pancake, what benefits might i expect? maybe faster af? personally, i'd be happy to be rid of that iFn button i hit by accident sometimes.

let's say if you think that your 20-50 is already pretty good, it won't see the light of day ever again once you tried the 30mm.

Too late to see this and the price is back to 399. How much was it? Does it ship to US?

$129 at Henry's. even if Henry's ship at $50, that is still a bargain at $180. they ship to the U.S. but I think the shipping costs from $8-$30 depending on the courier used. I'm not sure about the levy you have to pay in the U.S. but I think you got an idea.

Thanks for the info, I guess I shall wait for the next round of sales.

Right now I got some adapters to use some old 24/2.5 and 50/1.4. Not up to the NX30/2, but still mighty more fun than the kit lens.
