Those are some nice crisp shots. Did you micro adjust the lens at all? If so did you do at both ends? I had to do mine and it is 7 wide - 6 tel on one body and 3 wide and 2 tel on the other. I get great results with mine as well. Cheers.

Thank you for the comment! Yes it is a fantastic lins and yes I did MA; -6 at wide end and +1 at the tele end. Have a nice day!

i like this shot very much. the focus on the girl is terrific and i find her face beautiful.
very nice picture.

Excellent photos. Post process in Lightroom or Photoshop, I guess? Any particular settings for sharpening etc?

Filenames begin with underscore so I assume you used AdobeRGB and converted them to sRGB?

Thank you so much for the comment! Have a nice day!

Thank you for the comment! You are correct! It was shot in Adobe RGB color and it was processed in PS CS6. I used just a usual very slight smart sharpening in PS. I like the files from the 5 D very much! Have a nice day!

This is not an easy question to answer… There is no doubt about when you are lifting the shadows which file is the winner… Fortunately there is much more things around a picture than just the ability of recovering shadows… I have much more confidence in the AF whatever AF point I might choose in the 5D… Bedsides that the AF is almost instantaneous… The at least one more frame / second of the 5D is a bit handier than one could think just from the numbers… I prefer the colors of the 5D too… The build of the 5D give me more confidence too… Just have a look at the battery door construction of the D 800E…Last but not least, some of the EF lenses are just better than the Nikon counterparts… Right now I´m using the D 800E much less and I´m saving it for some special occasions when I really needed the higher resolution and the bigger files… Like some said here, the 5D is a better all-around machine… Have a nice day!
