Here are a few of the images that I would like to share with you from my recent trip to Northern India where I travelled west from Kolkata to Jaisalmer, and back to Kolkata via Dehli. All taken with the 7D. Enjoy. Intelligent comments welcome. :-)

Great pics, living in Thailand I can appreciate the joy of hanging out with Monkeys haha... they are fun to watch and shoot pics of. Wish there was more info about each shot... lens used, F, etc.. But really nice IQ

I was going to comment but that "intelligent" requirement is just too difficult to overcome! :)

Very beautiful photos.

Oh well, I tried. I guess folk are mre interested in the spec of a 7D rather than the results of what it can do!

As they would say in India "Wah Taj!!" :)

Really nice pictures... I like the mood, energy and the true flavor of the land that these pictures convey..., makes me want to go "home" :(

Yes, sorry. I am just re-uploading the pictures as in my inexperienced way of making the site I had made the original files far too large and the more people that looked at them was using up my monthly bandwidth allowance very fast. So I have reduced the image sizes and have now uploaded again and it is
....now running. Enjoy.
Jules
Jules,

Help! I can't get to your site... redirected to http://www.dahlphotography.com/ , a British portrait photographer's site.

Yes they are nice and all look very familiar. I am glad to have got to know the country and some of it's a people a little. They are a strong race and don't complain like we do in the west.
Very nice, Jules. Thanks for posting. Your images bring back many fond memories.

When you have a chance, you might enjoy my India pictures at http://www.pbase.com/h4xintl/india and http://www.pbase.com/h4xintl/south_india .

Thanks for sharing - takes me back home :). Looks like you got some interesting things going with 10-22 there (based on 7D - I guess that is what you used for those effects ).

Thanks

Yes the 10-22 is my favorite lens. if i only take one, that is it.

Sorry i am still having bandwidth probs on the site, i have upgraded to more, but it doesn't seem to have taken effect yet for some unknown reason.

I was looking forward to see these pictures, but always got this bandwith error message - on both the computer at work as well as my PC at home here (using Firefox and Google Chrome)

Yes there is a fault with my bandwidth allocation and it's taking time to fix with my sace host. I do apologise and normal service will be resumed as soon as poss. But it's a little complicated.

Interesting, did you have to change the lenses very very often? I always had to change a lot when I used my EF-S 10-22 mm + Tamron 28-300 mm - much more so than with a 18-xx zoom + 10-22 mm + telephoto.
Good point. Itend to just take the wide angle and my 28-135. Whichever is not on my camera I put in the pocket of my jacket, or if hot, have a leather bumbag that either lens will fit in and I just swap around when necessary. I do not carry a big photography back pack although do have one.
