Do some of you realise that the more threads you make titled "Let's not talk about orbs" and the more posts you make in which you state "Let's not talk about orbs", the more you are talking about orbs, and them ore you encourage a new conversation about orbs?

Particularly if you then decide to attack those with the eyes to see what's wrong with their images

Shoot. Foot. Much?

Who are you to tell other people how to post Gary?

You've supposedly moved on to the G1X right? Why are you still beating this dead horse then?
This is nothing but flame bait...

Dan.

The horse is not exactly dead yet, it is nicely revived with the Fuji firmware update. Because of that, X10 orbs are an actual and valid forum topic, long awaited firmware update for X10 orbs, and how (un)successful it is.

Did I tell other people how to post? I pointed out the illogic. Not the same at all.

Human beings are allowed more than one camera. Some of the loudest shouters against talking about orbs here are the ones who can't stop talking about orbs, and how they don't have them .
This is nothing but flame bait...
It's advice. Make of it what you will.

It is a dead horse to the OP who I specifically replied to. The OP has moved on to greener pastures with his new G1X, yet here he is still bashing the X10 & in some cases the X10 owners themselves.
At this point the OP is simply trolling & baiting.

This is a very revealing snippet from you Gary.

It seems the Orb issue isn't what drives you at all, & this clearly explains why you can't move on.

Keep it in perspective my friend.

Dan.

Try not to post such foolishness Dan.

While it is nice of you to suggest that the G1 X is a greener pasture, I am still an X10 owner who would LOVE IT if Fuji would fix my faulty camera thank you very much.

I am just pointing out the irony that those who are most annoyed with all this talk about orbs are starting thread after thread talking about them themselves, and then complaining they get discussed.

Don't try psychology Dan. It ill befits you. And once again, you have said ZERO to add to the debate about the camera but thought that name calling would help.

Feel better now?

Debate? Name calling? What debate & where is the name calling?

Not at this point, this is about your personal crusade & watching you unravel at this point Gary.
Feel better now?
I feel sorry for you actually!

Dan.

Once again, ALL ad hom flame.

Nothing to add?

Oh Gary, why do you insist on prolonging your pain? Move on to other makes and manufacturers, liberate yourself from this affliction. If the x10 isn't up to your style or standards then sell it and get something that is. No-one is forcing you to keep the x10 or indeed to use it for shooting scenes that you know will create the dreaded "Orbs".

--
Canon Can...Can you??

Nope.

You people are so funny. You fondly imagine that criticising people cures a camera fault that firmware can't fix.

I swear that the failed firmware has brought ALL the hornets out in force.

You trully are blinded in your hatred for the Fuji x10. BTW that is a camera that you may or may not own??

I felt that as well , its got decidedly nastier in here since 1.03 came out and failed.

And not by those who feel upset by its failure but by some of those still defending it to the last.

I see this is actually more of an "Us" against "Them" issue for you aeneon, rather than an actual camera tech. issue.
Am I reading you right? Because that's how you & Gary are coming across here. :)

Dan.

You truly are blinded in your inadequate knowledge of what I have actually said about the X10. Yes I own it, and the fact you do not know that again makes your point irrelevant.

With rational members, like Timur, I have actually had quite positive discussion of its strengths and weaknesses. With fools who think that insulting others cures a camera's faults, rational discussion is rather less simple.

Be honest. What you are most angry with right now is Fuji. For releasing a crappy firmware update,. Why not point that anger where it belongs?
Nope.

YOUR inference. Not our implication.

One day you WILL get the hang of it.

It's VERY clear. Look at the new threads started since its failure. Most are in full defensive mode. And I do't even know what they are so mad about. Some of them told us over and over they didn't even WANT the firmware.

Fuji's failure is Fuji's failure.

NOT the failure of the people whose cameras they were allegedly going to improve.
