Last night I took around 200 photos at a party. Got home, removed the CF card, put the D100 on the shelf and downloaded all the photos to my pc. Everything was fine.
Today, I picked up my D100 and to my surprise there was no "E" (indicating no CF card) on the display. Nothing.
Turned it on and everything on the display was ok except for the "E" that was still missing.
Turned it off, inserted a CF card, turned it on and the display was the same.
By now I was getting a little worried. Tried to take a picture. I did take a picture but there was no preview.
Tried to see what the setting were and when I pressed the buttons... nothing.
Now I was really worried.
Took some more photos and nothing. Tried to see if the photos were being recorded on the CF card, but the card continued empty.
Tried all sorts of combinations, including removing the battery, changing ISO, WB, etc and then, all of a sudden it woke up and started to behave normally.
I just had to format the card and everything is OK so far
what do you guys think?
