Well, sort of...

Was looking on Nextag, and found an E-30 for $2449!?! (only one, so if you want it, snap it up before the price goes higher) ;)

Don't know if it was a typo or the store just jacked up the price because it was the last one...

or becoming so. :-)

I can only hope the 4/3rd lenses start going up like that. Then would make the choice to sell them easier.

I'll let my slightly used one go for $2,000!

Soneone who doesn't know what their worth... about $400 would fit my budget :)

BTW, Nextag gave that E-30 a 'best buy' I suppose because it was the only one they could find.

Top condition used bodies for E-3's and E-30's are going for the same price at KEH . . . $695/$725. I find the price equivalency very interesting; it would seem to say something about customer-perceived value of each.

I picked up a NIB display model with 14-42 lens for $735 a few weeks ago which you can take out of my cold dead hands, thank you very much!

There he goes. One of God’s own prototypes. Some kind of high-powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, too rare to die.

At the time of this post it was still at B&H -- used condition of "9".

Maybe you can contact them and offer a price just for the E-30 body?

Wallstreet Photo (via Amazon) has the same price. Pretty silly.

Depending on what lenses you have, you may not take a large hit on selling them. Check the auctions on eBay etc.

If you have no intention of switching back to standard FT, or buying Micro and using the lenses, then holding onto them is "dead money".

...but, like they say, you have to find someone willing to pay that much.

I'm keeping mine (and my E-1).... if they do someday become a "collector" item, maybe in twenty years some future teenage hipster will offer me big money for my weird, classic, digital-retro E-1!

the system is dead in your mind does not mean it ceases to function in someone elses hands... I believe you are either trying to provoke a fight, or you are stuck in your own little world. Is there a third option?

Try opening a window sometime and look outside that little box, the fresh air might do you good.

Just sold my E-30 body only on e-Bay for £420 (roughly $670). Had a lot of interest from Portugal, Greece, Italy, France and bidding was "fierce". It's obviously still in demand.

Was pleased with £420 as I only paid £530 some three years ago on eBay.
