G3 new wide/tele lens OK for G1/G2??!

1.5x lenses for my older G1. Of course I do not need the G3 adapter
because these lenses have 58mm threads, and I'm mounting these on
my G1 58mm thread adapter.

I already have both the older G1 wide and tele converters (Canon),
and am not satisfied. I'm used to using 24mm lenses on my other
Canon 35mm cameras (T-90;AE-1,etc).

Can anyone confirm for me that the optics of those NEW lenses are
fine for my G1 (or G2)?
