OT where is everyone on the east coast--storm wise

I'm sitting here in total darkness--discovered I'm good touch
typist except for numbers and punctuation LOL.'

This area has been hit really hard--I did take some pictures but
they couldn't begin to do it justice--so to speak. We got power
for about 15 minutes just after we hooked up our 110 generator--and
then it was gone. We're luckier than most--a space heater and a
generator that will allow us a few lights and fridge tonight and a
fireplace. I wonder about the rest of you. I'm on my laptop on
battery with a slow cheap AOL account I keep for traveling. Many
won't have power for a number of days in this area (western
NC--Charlotte and north). More than a million folks without
power--and for us that is heat, water, lights--pioneer time LOL.

I just hope others are okay--safe, warm, able to still take a few
pics and share with us later.

Isn't that beautifu?!?l. Years ago I was always in NYC on business about the time the tree got lighted at Rockefeller Center and always enjoyed all the decorations about the city but haven't seen it for quite awhile. Enjoyed seeing NYC at holiday time again.

I live and Dallas, NC and I have a lot of customers in Gastonia. As a matter of fact we use to do a lot of work for PSNC up until a couple of years ago.
