hey,

just wanted to say goodbye...

i'm leaving...

no, not sigma. ;)

i'm leaving vienna and my beloved "lobau". the place where i learned to photograph and where i learned to love foveon...

here are some of my newer images (taken since my last posting here in the forum):































all taken with my sd14 and the 8-16 or 150 macro.

i'll be back in a while. i guess my next images will show the surroundings of marburg (germany).

and so they are really a tribute to your beloved, for I think it is, lobau.

To learn it means a famous flood-plain of the Danube brings even further sense of the nature in it.

This is both seasonally living nature that you base the images in, and nature in the feelings of the place, which you've often so well shared.

Good fortune where you are going, Felix, and I kind of anticipate to learn what you've found and will be finding there -- a new adventure.

sorry to read you're leaving Vienna and the beautiful Lobau. I hope it's for the better.

............FANTASTIC! I usually do not comment on photos posted, but these are right up my alley. I find them all just spectacular in composition, color and exposure. Very nice indeed! JohnW
 
Wonderful work, Felix. I always get a buzz out of your photos.

I hope you will be able to shoot beautiful works from where you are moving to... if not, you'd better come back from time to time...!

I particularly like your photos that almost resemble watercolour paintings, very tranquil.

Beautiful images!

I love the one of the four buds and the insect. A wonderful mix of fragile and terrifying in the picture. I will be looking forward to more images :)
