Hello there. I have taken some images with my Phase One PhowerPhase scanning back. Those backs are 49 megapixel - files from my D60 are so tiny compared to the TIFFS this back is able to produce!

Here is an example for you so you can see for yourself what I am talking about:
http://www.lankomedia.se/test/phaseone/index.html

I have also modified my Hasselblad SWC/M to accept this back - nothing can beat 49MP wide angle images ;-)
P.S. - let me know if you would like to see more images...

Very Impressive! got some question for you.

what did the back run you?
What type of lens mm?
What F-stop?
what ISO?
What iso speeds are avail ?

how about posting a landscape photo taken of a detail city scape like Luminous landscapes film vs Digital.

I´ll try to do something similar. I have several shots of my apartement (taken with SWC/M ans Phase One) - I will post lthem later today or tomorrow at latest.

If I could afford a Hassy and a 50Mp scanning back, I woudln't be here discussing how tiny D60 Images were, I'd be on the phone ordering a 1DS

Sort of shrinks the D60. But that's the way it is. I look forward to when such megapixels become available to consumers.

I would like to see more images. How about some heavily jpegged full size ones?

50Mp may work well for Medium format, but I can't see 35mm bodies getting that high due to pixel density, some compact consumer cameras are having problems with 5Mp (witness the Dimage 7 and Oly 5050 noise probs etc) and even the pixel density of the D60 causes stopdown problems past F16 due to it's less than 35mm sensor size.. to be honest and at a guess, the best solution for 35mm may lie in 22Mp Foveons..

Here is an example for you so you can see for yourself what I am
talking about:
The detail is really pretty amazing ... but DOF seems like it could be a huge problem. Must be why this thing starts at ISO 200. Care to post some landscapes? Would a wildlife shot be asking too much...?

P.S. - let me know if you would like to see more images...
Arrghhhh, love to see more samples. (I gonna kill my D60 now :-)
Now, now! It's not your D-60's fault that it has too few pixels. How do you think I feel, looking at those crops, knowing I have zero chance of any contrast such as was posted. I have the D-30:-( Do you know how frustrating that is:-) I mean, like, why even bother:-) But..... you have to suck it up and pretend:-)

Yes, at this magnification DOF is extremely shallow, next time I will try to stop the lens down to f16 orf22.. I forgot to mention that I´ve used Hasselblad bellows together with Planar 80mm/f2.8. I do not have any wildlife images taken with this back but I do have some interior shots that I will post tomorrow.

More images!
Both are taken with Hasselblad SWC/M & PhowerPhase scanning back.

Lev,

I could look at your images from that Hassy/Back all day. It doesn't matter that it's OT in this forum, I'm glad you posted it.

Sort of puts things into perspective.
