Hi, have visited this magical place couple of months ago, just for a blitz visit, but enough to fall in love and to promise myself to come again :-)

But like in all fairytales, there has to be some evil corner :-) Giger Museum Bar - really scary place to have a beer - like being inside a huge Alien :-) shame that I don't have some 21 or 24mm lens to accompany my trusty summicron 35, which was not wide enough for the occasion...

Dinko,

What a wonderful set! Love all of them, though the first three are absolutely stunning. Love the Geiger Image too! Well done!

Cheers,

I am with the guys Dinko ..... brilliantly captured and processed. Swiss landscape looks like right out of the fairy tales. And Giger image is glorious like Raaj said.

You know the town squares are so similar (and beautiful) in that part of the world - could have been anywhere in the Balkans, don't you agree. Thanks for sharing these.

By the way, how is the little one going???

David

I like these pictures very much. Stunning colour. And it makes me want to visit, especially that bar!

Thnaks :) the bar is really amazing, and what is fascinating is that the bar is i such a small village, maybe 200 people lives there, ok, many tourists are coming, but you would expect such a unique bar in london, paris, tokyo... Not in swiss mountains :)

Great series. I like every pic, and as a Giger fanatic, I enjoy every time I see some of his work. I haven't seen this Giger bar before seems to be a fantastic place.

Fantastic landscapes too.

Cheers.

Not only the bar is there, but the museum as well - unfortunately I arrived after working hours, so this is definitely the best reason to get back there :-)

What a beautiful place!!! I wanted to say the first shots are like postcards, but I don't remember seeing such beautiful postcards. Each of these makes you want to be there. I would love to visit such a place both in daytime and nighttime, and thank you very much for sharing your visit with us.

Hi Dinko,

Great set! I especially liked your nightly shots with the place being empty, very atmospheric shots indeed. The Geiger one with the little monsters is awesome too with some great colors and sharpness details in them.

I hope you don't mind I share some pics herewith I have also recently taken in this pretty picturesque place of Gruyeres. In fact I only live about an hour drive from it.

Cheers,

Tibor

Great shots. Nos. 3 and 4 are my favorites. The compositional balance and colors on 3 are really nice.

Very interesting pub/restaurant, btw.

Joe.

Dinko, this is a superb series! I am not familiar with that bar, but I find it quite interesting! I could never imagine such place in this little picturesque town.

BTW, I am sure you had whipped cream in Gruyeres; they have the best in the world! ;)

Regards,

Hi Tibor, great photos, as always - especially like 1st and 3rd :-) Switzerland is my favourite country, don0t know about working there, but going there for holidays is perfect :-) I use every occasion possible when I am near to visit CH :-)
