Which Web site will be the first to announce the new E-5, forever known (to me, at least) as the "Great Pumpkin" for all of the years' anticipation it has engendered....

Which will have it first ?

I don't really care.
oh, and which poster will post about it here first ?
Not me. I'll be asleep. Been a long day. G'night.

And Chris will be the first one posting about it. He has a shiny new E-5 in his hands right now. When the camera is launched and the NDA expires, he'll be the first out with his hands-on preview. Yeah, that's right. Can't wait! :-))

E-1 (sold 2009; should have keep it); E-520 (since December 2008!) E-410 (since June 2007) E-500 (2006- lost 2007); zuiki 14-54 (sold 2009); zuiko 14-42 (excellent, sold 2009); zuiko 14-45 (on the E410); zuiko 40-150Mk1 (excellent); zuiko 40-150 Mk2 (sold); zuiko 50 f2 macro (sold 2009, hoping for SWD version, should have keep it); Zuiko 70-300 (sold 2010, fun for portrait and compressed perspective, not fast enough for birding); flash FL-36 (so-so but light and useful)

I hope to be able to get a E-3 + 14-54 mk2 in late 2010 or early 2011, for less than $1000

and it will equiped with a new HDR filtering device for dramatic results.

Without hate or fear be everything you've dreamed of being.

Olympus E-510 partnered with a Zuiko 9-18, 14-54, 50-200 & 70-300 lenses and an FL-36 flash.

Though I don't have it right now, I could be the first person to post shots if they release it the way they released the E-620. I got my hands on that one about a month before other forum participants:

The E-3, on the other hand, came out in Japan later than North America. Though I did have a chance to use it before most (link) I didn't actually own one until a month after other members:

Looking forward to the E-5 events. Hope they have cuter models this time.

If it does a good HDR, I would buy it. Otherwise, no just use photoshop. It should take at least 3 photos at once with different exposures and combine them in RAW. Then save all 4 to the storage card. Not an xD card.
