Problem with 60D, pictures not sharp ??

If you push the shadows by +10EV, then horrendous banding occurs - Canon should fix this defect with an immediate firmware upgrade!

You must have a dud, mine are so sharp I just cut myself!

Bandaid anyone, please I am bleeding here :-)
 
Hey... I resemble that remark! We expect accurate precision with the factory alignment of the focus mechanisms in all our Canon cameras. There is no excuse for the misalignment of the auto-focus unit by the factory.

you are right!

here, I said out loud to the camera, FOCUS ON THE NOSE, and it focused on the eye. Pathetic software!

first picture is a 24mp picture, second is pixel level crop of the eye, disgusting!









now here, the 60D clearly can't see sharply through dirty scratched glass, which it said it could do on the box:





here we have no ability to focus on background objects:





this is aweful look at the noise, and the inability to focus on the foreground building:





now everything is in focus, but I didn't want the flower in focus, no ability to understand what the photographer is thinking !!!:

Can you post some samples please? It's hard to say anything about a camera that doesn't exist but without samples it's impossible.

I wish people would read the instruction manual before complaining about the sharpness of the 60D , as we all know it is a 3D camera and you need to wear special glasses to get the effect otherwise the pictures will not look very sharp .
 
Woweeee! When you first look at it, it's just a horse's ass. But after you click it becomes a unicorn. How cool is that!!!
