A Merged photo of 2 M9 shots ...... (img)

Well, this was quite a tough job for my PC, 36 TIFFs from Apo summicron 90 Asph., wide open for shallow DOF. So-called bokeh panorama

Carsten, this image is breathtaking. You should post it directly in the forum, not buried in another thread. Just wonderful.

Choi, I don't always leave comments, but I'm a big fan of your photography. Not to mention very envious of all the travel you do. :-)

but seriously could this be done with just one shot by moving ones feet?

Best,

thank you, much appreicated.

I will keep on posting my travel shots.

you need, and get this FOV and DOF. Better to understand is a 90 mm lens on a 7x11 cm large (virtual) sensor - with a relative small M9. Nice, isn´t it ?

Nice of course. But pixel size aside, looks like a 2 Noctilux vertical shots stitched together can give similar result.

But of cousre, I am no expert of such elaborate exercise, no doubt your image is really impressive. Just love to see it at full size, but I suppose the bandwith will be a hindrance.

Best,

Choi
