We had 75 degree F temperature over the weekend in NY and I decided to reshoot the Manhattan Bridge with the 12-24mm lens & D300.

17-vertical frames @ ISO 200. The originals are large :D

Here's a single horizontal frame @ 12mm. This is where panos come in handy:

Hi,

The first one is great. Reminds of an old documentary in a good sense. Thanks for sharing

bridges... I like the first one the best. Perfectly composed with the foreground rocks and little inlet of water balances the frame quite well.

Just something to challenge you a bit since you have mastered the shots from afar; get close! Let's see some creative shots of your favorite bridges from a unique and close up perspective.

The difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather a lack of will.

Glorious Dez, what a site! I like #1, but I have to say I love #2. It just seems a bit of a shame to not show all those incredible shades of blue. ;)

I've been on Dpreview since June 2006. Unfortunately, some posting history has been lost along the way...

Thanks for sharing. I never get tired of your NYC photos.

Thanks Chris. I've got a bunch of bits of some of the bridges here: http://photos.dezmix.com/bridges

But here's a few that I can pull off the top of my head of the Manhattan Bridge:
