Well I have many tats ... and they say the steel needle is more painful. After this shot I wonder. How long were you under the "needle" aka bigg @ss sharp stick! :-D and what does it say?

about twenty minutes for the three lines...
It is in the Pali language and an old style Shan script..

It says.. respect for the Buddha...respect for the Dhamma... respect for the Sangha...

I have been a Buddhist for thirty years... and to show my support for the Shan people in their struggle for freedom.

After twenty minutes it can become quite intense ... I once sat for 4 hours, I was glad it was over

Well....

let me get my opinion in a more polite way than usually - why would you write such things to another man? What provokes you to do this - Buddhism, tattoos? And why can't you keep the negative energy and emotions for yourself? What do you thing you prove or do writing such things in another man's post? More so, with him being a Buddhist, you don't actually expect any answer to such dirty and low opinion wright?

And now to get back to my usual way of expression - it will be easier to understand for some people:

First of all writing two posts like this in one thread shows that some people are smarter than others, and you're not in the first group dude, me neither writing to you :)

And of course - with your attitude (personal problems?) the only one who touches you is probably yourself ;)
