Both pic were taken recently with a D80.

Converted and PP in Capture NX.

First pic was taken on a very windy evening just before sunset, 70-300VR, 1/5s,

handheld. I even thought it was too windy to put the tripod up, so I really think VR is a blessing.

Second pic taken from Signal Hill just before sunrise, 18-135 on a tripod.
Half an hour later the whole city was under the clouds.

Any cc or comments very welcome

Regards
Leif

Very nice! Thanks for sharing...

Thanks to all of you for looking, and for your comments.

It's always interesting to get feedback and to see how different our tastes are.

And yes, Cape Town is a very nice place to live in.

And Leung, I'm off to buy a frame now ! :)

Regards
Leif

Oh I really long back to Cape Town and the Garden Route when I see these nice images!

Thanks for looking Henriks.

And here is one from the Garden Route.
A classic view from the Wilderness.
I bet this looks a lot different to Umeå at the moment.
