Thanks all, I do hope it was not over the top for here

I just I enjoy monochrome work from the big Fuji and this started a long term project...
Was there something over the top, I thought it was bare. ;-)

Keep us informed of your project.

Very nice Lilianna, lovely necklace ;)

When out last summer this young lady came along to do some sunbathing right in front of where I was sitting and her necklace also caught my eye ;)

All the best,

Paul.

Whims are good... I'm pro-whim.

Was this shot in macro or Holy Mackerel mode? Just trying to keep things technical.

Nice that you're taking on a project. I recently gave myself a short term project of turning what I'd usually view as errors, shortcomings or constraints like noise and blur in dimly lit situations and trying to do something creative. It nudged me a peg in how I view some shots and gave me something to chew on outside of the 'normal' in pp.

That's a seriously cool shot. Or if you're one of the guys, a seriously hot shot. :-)

PP work is very nice, too.

I've enjoyed reading all the comments, too. Still smiling here.

Good work! Personally I hate being a subject, so I wouldn't have your nerve.

I might suggest you do a series and try some variations. Please accept this in the spirit I offer it, a few hopefully constructive comments.

The angle of the torso is good. I find the button at the bottom somewhat distracting, if you can position the camisole to eliminate it, so much the better.

I like the angle of the necklace, but compositionwise, I would place its an inch or so lower.

Thanks for sharing.

First of all - nice you! and than a nice self-portrait of course, nice angle, love B&W - usually much more expressive than color and in this shot it is expressive.

P.S. Initially I thought it is not a self portrait, but you cat did one of you in return! ; ))

Thanks for sharing your fine image here.

... Good to see something that is done tastefully, and is 'image perfect'. Not over the top at all.

Inspired me to try a self portrait also but, nah, thought better of that idea ;)

Cheers.
