I've been using the Olympus neoprene case for the last month. It is very convenient to use and decent protection but find that the overflap's thickness adds too much bulk to the package. I also tend to leave my camera on my passenger seat or in one of the storage spaces in my truck and don't like the fact that dirt and stuff gets to the camera through the side openings. The same is true for my pockets(I am a dirty smoker!) This is a problem for many of the cases available for this camera, including the high-end bags from Canon. I work outdoors in all manner of conditions and seem to attract a lot of crap into my car and pockets which I don't want getting into my camera.
I have just received my ebay Australian neoprene case. It fits perfectly, with the grip and Lensmate adapter. I like the zipper, as it keeps the crap and dampness away from my little jewel. It takes a tiny bit more effort than the magnetic closure, but my camera tends to be either in the case or out, and so this only costs me about a second. It is also small enough to fit in my pocket and seems well-constructed. It doesn't have room for a spare battery, SD card, or polarizing filter, but I have put a little piece of velcro on the case and another on a little pillbox filled with the extras so that they hold together if I so desire. Alternatives that allow the extras to be in the same case defeat the whole pocketableness advantage of this camera.
I'm also waiting delivery of one of the leather fitted cases with extension for the lens, even though it won't accomodate the grip and allows grunge to get in the sides. Just wanted to play.
All told my quest for the perfect S90 case has cost about $30. Not bad for something I now have $500 into--grip, adapter, spare batteries, filter.
