The idea is pretty simple. If you take a picture do not take a picture of the whole thing. Convert it to Black & White. Put it in the gallery. That's it!

Challenge runs from November 4th (today) to Monday November 16th 9pm GMT
Voting will start straight after, and run till Wednesday November 18th at 9pm GMT.
To post a photo in either gallery; just select the gallery of choice from below. On the top of the page you will see "edit this gallery", click on that and it will ask for a password. Enter "kickass" (keep it lower case) and you should be able to make it from there. If you still need assistance, ask and you shall be answered. Sometimes the answer actually helps!
Newbies are totally welcome - Just post here if you need assistance to post images into the gallery or if you are not certain what's going on. We all started off clueless and make the same mistakes. For some guidance on what sort of shots fit what sort of themes, just do a search here on 'challenge' in the subject and browse the past competitions.

Please add your name after the title (makes voting easier), and make the image 800 pixels on the long edge, no larger than 200K. Ensure the EXIF data is intact with the date it was taken. Pbase let us run these challenges free on their website, so please respect this by keeping your file size reasonable.Member said:Even if you have never played before you are strongly encouraged to start playing.
