well i havent posted on her for ages but

i feeel this is going to be a very exciting winter and a new year not to far away.

ive missed posting, reading and looking on hear as ive had terrible pc problems.

with referance the 40d and bigma combo i always struggled with BIF and this was part to due with the af point being to wide for the smaller than pigeon, dove sized bird.

and after many months i finaly sold the canon stuff with private sales and trade in with LCE im now on the DARK SIDE d300 is awsome and tonight ive got my starling in flight and this was with an 500mm f7.2 .

im a sucker for punishment and as money is still tight i had to go for a new sigma 150-500mm dispite what you here it is sharp and very fast af.

but QC from sigma has let the side down again ive got terrible back focus at least 20mm so after 4days im taking the lens back .

but for the 1st time putting the d300 on my scope with its bright view finder
m/focusing is easy and 100% crops if not more will be possible. .

ed80/600mm flp 53glass and lots of space with my old 40d

staight from camera.

i will post my starling bif shot asap.

im glad to be back

many thanks j
