Has anybody ever used this website to purchase a camera? They advertise that they except paypal. They have an almost too good to be real price on a 620 with 14-42.

I think I've read a few posts about them. Do a search. If I remember correctly, they have very poor seller ratings and sell "new" items that are refurb or used.
You know the saying.

If its too good to be true...it probably is.

Why do people even think of going anywhere but the well known reputable dealers? Anyone else is almost always a scam artist. I recommend the following:

B&H Photo (#1)
Adorama (tied for #1 IMO)
Cameta (sells via Ebay but is a brick and mortar store, great for Oly)
New Egg (good, but limited Oly selection)
Amazon (if sold BY Amazon and NOT a 3rd party)

Also consider, as a backup:
Ritz online (prices are higher)
Abe's of Maine
Samy's

I wouldn't touch them with a 10-foot pole.
They used to be Broadway Camera, huge crooks.

Be prepared for huge accessories sales hype, unanswered customer service, and gray-market merchandise.

I recently ordered a 60D from them and had a similar experience to what others have described. A day or so after I placed the order it said I needed to call in on the status of the order. When I called, the person said it was for security purposes... and then proceeded to try to upsell me on extra batteries, memory cards, and an insurance policy. I politely said no to everything and he said he would make sure the order got out that day. I got my camera a couple days after that just as ordered.

For me, the savings was worth the bit of hassle I had to go. It really wasn't a big deal... although it is a little annoying they do their business that way. I had found this forum while I was researching them, so I kind of knew what to expect.

Hope others find this helpful.

I need to retract what I said about them... these people are crooks! The lens I bought messed up after two uses and when I called Camera Kings they told me to call the manufacturer and open a case with them; after we had troubleshot the issue I could call them back with the case number and they would give me a RMA to replace the lens. I called the number they gave me (Tamron USA) and the woman said they don't do case numbers or anything like that and then proceeded to quiz me about where I got the lens and how much I paid for it. After giving her my serial number she informed me that the lens I have doese not have a Tamron serial number! At best it is a grey market lens, and at worst it is a knockoff. She advised me to call Canon as well and make sure the camera I got was legit... which I did, only to find out it was the same deal. No US warranty and possibly a fake. The real crappy thing about this is that had the lens not messed up so quickly, I would have never known that I had been ripped off, and I would have no leg to stand on.

I tried calling them back yesterday and they stopped answering their phones, so it is looking like I'm going to have to get the credit card company involved to do a charge back. Save yourself the hassle and don't do business with these people.
