Who has pre-ordered a 7D?

I already brought al the great glass I can stomach waiting for the 5D mkII, and then decided it wasn't the camera for me. I couldn't wait another 3 years for the mk III or I'd be dead broke!
After all my excitement about these features I wanted, I realized this is not the camera for me. If I am going to carry that size and weight, I want full frame. I neither shoot birds nor do sports. I will wait for the next 5D, which will have all these features and more. If any dollar gets out of my pocket, it will be for more great glass.

I did receive a notice to pre-order from Amazon, but I will let it pass.

I ordered BEFORE it was announced officially and Lisa said she already had a handful of orders at that moment and that I would be in the first batch.

--Good site I pre ordered a 40D from them and got one from the first batch. But the best part was I got the err99 shorlty after my return policy ran out but I called them anyhow and to my surprise they took it back.

I also was one of the first to have the 40D by buying from Berger Bros. Ordering through Lisa is like ordering something from a good friend. She's great. I buy from B & H and Berger-Bros. If something is the same price, I prefer Berger Bros. because of the personal attention. Not that I don't like B & H, but they are bigger and the only time I had to talk to someone there, I was attended to properly, but dismissed rapidly too :-)

I've bought a lot of camera equipment from them in the past and been very impressed with their service. Plus 12 months interest-free financing to pay for this non-budgeted item!

September 30th. And a price reduction. I think they finally have noticed that people order cameras from the US if the price difference is too steep (after sales tax).
